TOOL CABINET

 

The trestle is oak with mortise & tenon & lap joints. The bottom cabinet is maple & has mitered
corners & biscuits. The doors are oak with box joints that have walnut inlays.
The top cabinet is cherry with dovetailed construction. The horizontal dividers are oak,
 two are in on sliding dovetails, and two have through tenons with walnut wedges.
 The verticals are cherry. The drawers are mahogany, oak, walnut and maple.
 They are dovetailed front & back. The unit is 7' high and is on four casters.
 Small clamps are mounted on the outside of the bottom cabinet. This is similar to one in Jim Tolpins Book " The Toolbox Book "

 

 

SMALL TOOL CABINET

Located Between the drill press & lathe. Constructed of maple with dovetail construction.

 Drawers are cherry

ROUTER TABLE

Constructed with baltic Birch Finished in cherry. Mounted on 4 casters

 

WORK BENCH
I used a combination of 2 plans, one from Lee Valley & Issue 50 of Woodsmith  Magazine
Constructed of 2" Maple, the drawers are cherry with box joints. The end vise has 4 rods plus the screw. This Vise uses square bench dogs. The front vise uses Veritas round bench dogs.

 

SCROLLSAW  STAND
The scroll saw was mounted on an angle for better visibility. Stand is on a mobile base, drawer fronts are cherry

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

48" LATHE

Constructed of 2" maple. The compartment is 3/4" plywood and the drawers have cherry fronts

 

 

 

 

OVERALL VIEW
In the foreground is a portable dust collector, 8" Inca jointer, 10" Inca table saw & a 12" craftsman radial arm saw. The bandsaw is a 16" laguna on a mobile base. The planer, jointer & table saw are mounted on two casters for mobility. By moving the saw & opening the patio door 16' boards can be ripped.
